If you are physically fit, have excellent customer service skills, and know how to drive a moving truck, this opportunity is for you!
You’ll perform a variety of tasks that keep you active and in shape while working in a friendly and respectful environment.
What you’ll do every day
As a mover, you will safely and efficiently load and unload furniture, accessories, and boxes from the truck, then place these items in the locations designated by the customer.
You will also protect these items with moving blankets and secure them with straps inside the truck.
You will handle all belongings with care and respect, while also protecting the customer’s property. We also move computers, servers, pianos, and other fragile and valuable equipment.
You will safely drive the moving truck to various residential and commercial destinations.
You will work as part of a team to ensure efficient moving while respecting established schedules.
Candidate profile
To qualify for these mover jobs, you must have a valid Class 3 and Class 5 driver’s licence and experience driving cube trucks, dump trucks, or moving trucks (an asset).
You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy furniture and boxes. You must also have a professional attitude, always be punctual, and enjoy interacting with customers.
You must be able to work early mornings and have a flexible schedule.
