Your piano moving experts
For a move without a wrong note!
Located in Jonquière, Transport Déménagement JMY provides piano moving services to residents of Alma, Chicoutimi, Jonquière, and surrounding communities. Piano moving can be particularly stressful for musicians. In addition to being a valuable and often expensive work of art, a piano is, by nature, heavy, bulky, and fragile! To save yourself the stress, why not rely on professional movers? That’s exactly what Transport Déménagement JMY offers piano owners throughout the region. Since 2005, our moving company has continued to build an excellent reputation across the region.
Piano moving: A unique challenge
Although every move comes with its own set of challenges, piano moving requires specialized expertise. These instruments come in a variety of sizes. Smaller grand pianos weigh around 300 pounds, while the largest can weigh more than a ton. Naturally, because of their weight and considerable size, more than 7 feet long in some cases it is highly recommended to use a proper moving truck.
You will also need a small team of professional movers to load these instruments safely. Ideally, as many removable parts as possible should be taken apart beforehand to make packing and unpacking the different components easier. Musicians in the Jonquière area will be pleased to know that the Transport Déménagement JMY team specializes in piano moving. We also serve Chicoutimi, Alma, and all surrounding communities.
The right equipment to take the stress out of the road
The Transport Déménagement JMY team has all the equipment required for safe and efficient piano moving. In addition to our fleet of trucks, we also have dollies, moving straps, boxes, and packing materials. This means you can count on professionals who rely on more than just physical strength to move your valuable instrument! If you prefer to handle the moving yourself, we can also sell you all the necessary equipment to help ensure a successful move.
Although our company is located in Jonquière, we have extensive experience with long-distance moving. In addition to serving Chicoutimi and Alma, our trucks can transport your piano to the destination of your choice anywhere in the province. If necessary, we can also provide secure storage for your piano in our mini-storage facility.
